Santoshpur Agantuk

Aparajita

Aparajita was launched to bring the light of development among the backward  women of Konchowki in 2020, we got the help of USHA and launched vocational  training of stitching, 50 women participated in this training session and an outdoor  training session was also arranged at Howrah and we successfully trained them and  helped them to bring them in the social harmony 

Rupantar

Rupantar is a new milestone for us as we established a school for the specially Abled children at Shealdah. We generated Colour Therapy, Speech Therapy and Motor  Therapy for the development the children and the prior target was to bring them in the main social-stream 

Deepsikha

Deepsikha was an initiative to take the light of education to every house at the time of COVID-19 situation. It was an online educational process where we teach various  subjects along with art, a grand response was received by us from all over the West Bengal and around 500 students were receiving daily classes provided by us 

Shikkhaneer

Shikkhaneer is an initiative to teach the 1st generation learner from the slum area of the Jadavpur and near by area, with the help of various teacher we organized workshop and classes for the students and the greatest success was Rumpa Mistrey  as we gave 24 classes to her before her board exam of 10th standard and she passed  with a good mark and now she is pursuing her graduation degree and she is the 1st person from her family who stepped into college.

 Scholarship Programme

  • To enhance the development of education and all the other things a scholarship of 2  years was given to 6 Deaf and Dumb students
  • In 2018 we extended our hand by the event of Athira to celebrate International  Dance Daya towards the 2 future artist. We provided a scholarship for the  betterment of the future as Kathak Artist of Suchandra Karmakar and Bingshati Dutta.

Naba Unmesh

Naba Unmesh was an event presented by Santoshpur Agantuk in collaboration with  Alka Jalan Foundation organised by Kriya – Sunderer Karigar powered by IMA’S. By this event we wanted to establish the concept of empowerment of women where age is not a factor. Another factor is celebration of Art with new generation and their birth as an artist, also it was a step to put a new life to the Special Child of our Society. It was  a two days event, 1st part was on 19th February, 2023 and the 2nd part was on 26th February, 2023. In the first part an Art fest was organised where children from 10 years to 14 years participated in Painting and Dance.3 participants are selected from each of  the sector for a one-time scholarship.

Anuprerona

Anuprerona was held on 29th July, 2023 at Rotary Sadan with the objectives of  Establishment of cultural importance in our society, Understanding the importance of Dance and Music in our life, Upliftment of society by providing Scholarship to the people in need for Education, Inspire people for social service. The cultural factor is established first by the presence of two great Artist, namely Amita Dutt as Chief  Guest of the evening and Mukti Bhowmik as Special Guest of the evening. Also, the solo dance performance by Tushi Naskar, Ahi Naskar, Rituparna Biswas, Mallika  Mondal and Koyel and the production based on Shiva by Sayanee Chavda established the value of Kathak. The musical importance was placed by the  Swarnali Pal by her vocal and the Violin Choir of her institute IMA’S.

The Scholarship programme was as usual, as per the plan 5 students received scholarship  
  1. Anupriya Bhattacharya (One time Scholarship) 
  2. Mallika Mondal (One time Scholarship) 
  3. Dipmita Pahari (For two years) 
  4. Kuheli Nayak (For two years) 
  5. Rajashree Ghosh (For two years) 

The famous person from Drama, Amit Deb was felicitated and the famous media person from Pratidin, Subarnapratim Giri was also felicitated. As per the Plan the Social and  Cultural Development was established by the event – Anuprerona.
