At Santoshpur Agantuk, fondly known as Agantuk, we believe that meaningful change begins with compassion, creativity, and togetherness. We warmly welcome you to our digital space, a place where our journey, values, and the stories of the people we serve come together in harmony.
Founded in 2013 and officially registered in 2014, Santoshpur Agantuk was built on a simple yet heartfelt vision. We dreamed of creating a more inclusive and hopeful society where every individual is given the opportunity to grow with dignity and grace.
Over the years, Agantuk has evolved into much more than an organization. What started as a small initiative has gradually grown into a collective journey shaped by people, purpose, and shared dreams. Our work is a reflection of our commitment to social welfare, cultural preservation, and community development.
Our Heart and Soul in Action
- Empowering the Differently Abled. We strive to create supportive and inclusive spaces for special children and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they feel seen, heard, and valued.
- Dance Therapy. We utilize the healing power of movement and rhythm as a therapeutic tool, helping individuals find emotional balance, physical strength, and a unique way to express their inner selves.
- AI Based Education for Specially Abled Children. We embrace modern innovation by implementing AI based learning tools tailored specifically for mute and other specially abled children, breaking communication barriers and opening new doors to knowledge.
- Women Empowerment. We encourage self reliance through vocational training and sustainable opportunities, helping women find their own strength and independence.
- Cultural Preservation. We are dedicated to keeping traditional arts, heritage, and the timeless spirit of the Guru Shishya Parampara alive through meaningful practice and performance.
- Inclusive Education. We focus on supporting first generation learners and children facing social or economic challenges, providing them with the tools to build a brighter future.
Every chapter of our journey has been made possible by the trust and encouragement of our members, volunteers, artists, and well-wishers. Together, Agantuk continues to move forward with hope and humanity, staying true to the belief that even the smallest effort can create a lasting ripple of change.
Our Initiatives
Every initiative we undertake is a step toward dignity, empowerment, and hope.
Swabalamban
Swabalamban is a women empowerment initiative focused on providing ready-made garment and sewing training to 40 women from Block Bishnupur-I, South 24 Parganas.
The project is being implemented under the West Bengal Women Development Undertaking, a Government of West Bengal undertaking under the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal.
The first phase of the training program has been successfully completed, and we are currently awaiting government approval for the second phase.
Beneficiaries: 40 Women Trained

Parampara
Parampara is a cultural training initiative running under the Guru-Shishya Parampara Scheme supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The project is currently continuing successfully in its third year, preserving and promoting traditional artistic learning through the Guru-Shishya tradition.

Saksham
An inclusive skill development and employment initiative dedicated to empowering specially abled youth through vocational training, confidence building, and livelihood opportunities.

Standing at the doorstep of its fourteenth year, SANTOSHPUR AGANTUK continues its journey with gratitude in its heart and dreams in its eyes. We are still young, still growing, and perhaps not yet fully grown as an organisation, but every step of this journey has been made meaningful by the love, trust, and encouragement of people who believed in our vision of art, humanity, and social change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, GOVT. OF INDIA, for their Financial Assistance for Promotion of Guru-Shishya Parampara (Repertory Grant). Their support encourages us to keep alive the timeless tradition of learning, sharing, and preserving our cultural heritage through dedication and artistic practice.
We also sincerely thank the Department of Women and Child Development, GOVT. OF WEST BENGAL, along with the West Bengal Women Development Undertaking, for the successful implementation of the Swawalamban Scheme. Their support has touched many lives, inspired confidence, and helped nurture the spirit of self-reliance and dignity among countless women and communities.
SANTOSHPUR AGANTUK began with a simple belief — that art, empathy, and collective effort can create meaningful change in society. Over the years, we have continued to work in the fields of culture, social welfare, education, empowerment, and community development with sincerity and commitment.
